The Commentators

Janelle Teng
I’m an EDB Scholar heading to Johns Hopkins University this fall to pursue a degree in Biological Sciences. In my free time (and not-so-free time), I like to play tennis, volunteer as a pet-assisted therapy advocate and watch Thriller genre movies (Christopher Nolan films are my favourite). I’m also a HUGE fan of Star Wars and all things Google.
As the great philosopher Yoda once said, “Always in motion is the future”. There are numerous burgeoning industries and businesses waiting to be developed, and I look forward to learning new insights from the teams during the EDB Amoeba Challenge!

Qiu Linan

Linan loves Lamborghinis, Led Zeppelin and Lambert. After singing for 6 years in both his secondary school and junior college choir, and being the student conductor for both of them, he has recently decided to try his luck in a rock band as a keyboardist. While he is not in his army camp as a uniform donning botak, Linan tries to do Liszt and Bach. Other than music, Linan enjoys economics, but he does not wish to dull your first impression of him with Krugman and Keynes. Keane makes a livelier topic.
He is going to the States to study engineering and economics. He really hopes that the world still exists by the time he comes out of the army in 2012; he still looks forward to college.
Linan believes, with great passion, that an Americano a day (tall is enough. venti causes diminishing returns.) keeps the dozes away. Contestants seeking caffeine overdose can try to ask him for a cuppa.
